Age policy:

You must be 18 or older to book an appointment. No exceptions.

BOOKING:

All booking is done through my booking site. When needing to book an appointment please go through my Gloss Genius account. Gloss Genius requires a credit card to book appointments. You will not be charged upon booking. It is kept securely on file in the case of same day cancellations or no call no shows.

LATE ARRIVALS:

Please reach out to me via text, call, or email if you are going to be late. Messages get lost on Instagram - this is not the place to cancel or reschedule appointments. After 15 minutes the appointment will be cancelled, and you will be charged 75% of the total service amount.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All policies apply to all appointments including gift cards/gift certificates on file.

LATE CANCELLATION: Please contact me via email, text, or call as soon as possible. Appointments must be rescheduled or cancelled 48 hours in advance. I am understanding and realize life happens. But it can also be extremely difficult or impossible to fill last minute times. You may be subject to a fee of 50% of total service.

CONSTANT RESCHEDULING: When you book an appointment time, you are reserving time slot for your treatment. By consistently rescheduling appointments(3+ times in a row) it denies the time slot to other clients. Multiple reschedulings and cancellations may result in elimination of any future appointments at studio.

NO CALL NO SHOWS be subject to 75% of total service amount.

RETURNS/ EXCHANGES:

All purchases at THE SKIN WITCH® are final sale. If your products arrive damaged you must email with photos of the packaging & items within 3 days. As a small business, I unfortunately cannot sustain the same kinds of returns/ exchanges a large corporate business can. If you have experienced reactions in the past or have any known or possible known allergies/irritants please indicate this within your health intake form.

CLIENT HEALTH INTAKE FORM:

All new clients are required to fill out the health intake form. All questions are necessary. Skin is the largest organ of the body so it is truly all connected. Diet, medicines, product choices, lifestyle etc all play a role. Please have health + policies/consent form filled out before appointment. If not filled out already, you will be required to do so upon arrival. This will cut into your service time, with no price adjustments.

Returning clients just need to fill out health update form + policy/ consent. Please make sure to list any new products or health issues on the update form. Find all of these forms here.

  • Under ENCHANTING FACIALS, please read all descriptions. Feel free to email with any questions regarding help to decide. Facial choice can be changed day of depending on how your skin is presenting.

  • · Fill out the new client (or returning client) health form & also consent/policies form for your treatment.
    · Do not use Retinol, any exfoliating products (Glycolic, Salicylic, Lactic acids etc) for 72 hours prior to appt
    · Avoid waxing, shaving, dermaplaning 72 hours prior to appt

    NOTE:

    · Received Botox and or filler? Wait two weeks to book a facial.
    · Received laser or IPL treatment? Wait one month to book a facial.
    · Received Microblading or permanent makeup? Wait one month to book a facial
    · Received Microneedling/Radiofrequency Microneedling? Wait two weeks.

  • · Avoid wearing makeup if at all possible
    · Bring a clean covid face mask for after appointment if you so choose
    · NEW CLIENTS: Be prepared for an additional 20-30 minutes for in-depth consultation depending on your skin goals & needs.

  • · Avoid being out at the beach, or any outdoor activity involving a lot of sun for the rest of day
    · Avoid heated spaces like saunas, or hot yoga for 24 hours
    · Avoid retinol and exfoliating products for the next 2 days.
    · Purging after professional treatments is always a possibility. Please contact me with any issues.

  • We will go over this in more depth in person but in general every 4-8 weeks depending on skin conditions. If dealing with inflammatory acne - you may need to come twice a month when first beginning.

  • 2720 Park Street, Suite 214 Jacksonville Fl, 32205. The Skin Witch is located in Whiteway Building in Historic Riverside. Studio is located between Southern Crossing Antiques Mall & Primi Piatti.

    Suite 214 is on the second floor there are stairs & also an elevator.

    After arriving, please be mindful of signage on door. If Do Not Disturb sign is out - I am with a client or getting the room ready. Feel free to have a seat outside or wait in car and I will be with you at the scheduled appointment time.
