1. New Wash by Hairstory: I am simply in love with this hair product! My amazing hairdresser Sami Skinner has sung the praises it for awhile! Honestly, I am not sure what took me so long- BUT I AM NOT GOING BACK! If you’re a curly girl who struggles with traditional cleansing and conditioning - this is totally the thing for you. But honestly I think anyones hair can benefit from their products. Theres also a quiz on the site to determine what will work best for you. It's a wonderful feeling sulfate & detergent free one step hair wash/conditioner which is a time saver for me! I absolutely love it! It has really helped my curls look so much happier & healthier! 2. Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guiarda: Wow! Preparing for our trip to NYC I thought it would be fun to read a book by one of the old GMs/ owners of a restaurant we would be dining at- Eleven Madison. Sort of been obsessed with Will’s approach to hospitality. Once I realized he had a book out- just knew I had to get it. As a former bartender/server (although never fine dining) turned esthetician -this book really hit home. But, I believe for anyone in service or hospitality biz (honestly meaning if you work with clients in any capacity) this is a must read!
I caught myself taking a lot of notes just knowing I will read this again and again. Will shares personal stories + advice about going above & beyond in thoughtful and super creative ways. It was such a beautiful reminder of being intentional with the people we serve daily. I think it’s a brilliant and lovely read. In the end, it made me (as always) incredibly grateful for every single client. Always look forward to guiding your skin journey & being here for you every step of the way. It’s truly an honor to be a part of your lives! I’m the luckiest witch ever!
3. Bel Mondo Moisture Renewal Mask: Some of the best holistic estheticians in the game put me onto this one- so ya know its good! The idea behind was to take Bel Mondo’s signature bio cellulose mask fabric – prized for its occlusiveness – and infuse it with oncology approved ingredients that would gently hydrate + soothe extremely dry, sensitive skin — without risk of irritation. It is so gentle thus can be used for any and all skin types. It helps to hydrate, plump, & renew your skin. Also, if you’re dealing with major barrier dysfunction & redness or stinging, it’s really lovely to bring some calm to the skin. I love pairing it with my MiTama device for microcurrent nights or with a cold roller or cold globes! This mask is magic of the highest order!
4. Dr. Martens Vegan Platform Chelsea Boots:
I’ve been dyingggggg for a pair of Chelsea boots forever & then recently realized there was a platform version! Tried to contain myself to hold out a bit longer on buying Butthen (oops) I just treated myself to these bad boys in New York! Well, because I felt like they went great with my dress lol. I really do think they work dressed up or down & I love having a little extra height on me!
